meaningful conversations that inspire and ignite

As an artist and educator, I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations with audiences, colleagues, and students about music creation and composition, music and intersectionality, music collaboration, music technology, music education, the work of Julius Eastman, and more. From formal lectures and panels to hands-on workshops and pre-concert talks, I believe connecting with audiences face-to-face is integral to the work we do as artists. Previous public speaking events include engagements with Carnegie Mellon University, Rice University, Emory University, Duke University, the Boulanger Initiative’s WoCo Fest, the Nasher Museum of Art, and more.

  • Artist Residencies

  • Keynotes
