I wrote Rencontres, in early 2020 after a chance encounter with a musician who changed the way I perceive music as a tool of community. Little did I know just how much this idea would be on all of our minds a few months later. Rencontres draws influence from the feelings chance encounters like these evoke- questioning, wonder, intrigue, and openness.
